Location: In the pond of Shakujii Koen Park, Tokyo
One day I saw a sculpture had a white cloth on and an image of the robe appeared in my mind. Miho-no-Matsubara’s Hagoromo (feather-mantle or heavenly kimono) and Monk’s “KESA” robe overlapped. I created an artificial island in the pond of Shakujii Koen Park, to make a “Sacred Robe” with Italian marble.
