Isamu Noguchi’s sculpture “Momo Taro” has the hollowed-out granite. Visitors are invited to enter, to sit and to see outside from the hollow.
I liked this idea, and I made this monument to pay the repect to Mr. Noguchi.

At quarry in Ibaragi Prefecture, I found a tip of rock. After digging the surrounding soil, it turned out about 12 tatami (about 20㎡) rock.

I imagined humans are surrounding this rock, and carved a life-size dente so they can go in. Then I sculpted aliens.
